Meet Your Podiatrist

Dr. Raquel Litherland, DPM

Podiatric Surgeon · Double Board-Certified · Practicing in Colorado since 2017

ABOUt Dr. Litherland

An Oklahoma-born podiatrist who found her home in Colorado.

Dr. Litherland was born and raised in Oklahoma. She first came to Colorado to attend Colorado Christian University, where she graduated with a degree in Biology. She then moved to the Midwest to pursue her studies at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University. Upon completing her medical training, she was accepted into the residency program at Botsford Hospital, where she continued her training in both forefoot and rearfoot surgical and conservative care.

Dr. Litherland performs general podiatric care as well as foot and ankle surgery, with particular expertise in diabetic foot care and wound care. Her clinical specialties include foot and ankle deformities, fractures, sprains, wound care, trauma, injections, skin and nail conditions, orthotics, and diabetic foot management. She is also trained in diabetic education — a reflection of her long-standing focus on the specific needs of patients managing diabetes and its complications.

Dr. Litherland has been practicing in the greater Denver area since 2017. She's deeply rooted in the Colorado lifestyle and spends her free time outdoors with her family.
